OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Delma, a local artist and longtime La Honda resident, is Director of Finance and Administration at Pie Ranch. She is also involved in a myriad of community enterprises and projects. Most recently, she co-founded Madrone Arts Gallery in Pescadero, a collective of local artists. Delma is truly excited to be part of the Outpost, where she hopes she can further contribute to the community she is so passionate about.

NICHOLAS ERRIDGE

Nic lives in Pescadero, on the edge of Loma Mar. He has been part of the community for over a decade and is focused on community engagement. He is also an elected member of the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Committee and serves on the boards of several other nonprofit community-support organizations.

Cindy has lived in La Honda since 1976. She raised two children on the South Coast while working full time with the County of San Mateo Probation Department.  She has supported many local events and task forces with a focus on making a difference in our unincorporated coastal communities. Cindy is excited to work with the Outpost team to continue to benefit these amazing communities.

SUE HENKIN-HAAS

Sue has lived in the South Coast area for 42 years—16 years in La Honda and 26 years in San Gregorio. She is active in the local community – serving as a board member for the San Gregorio Environmental Research Center (SGERC),  a co-chair of La Honda Indivisible and serves on Sheriff Corpus’ Coastside CARE committee. She is a writer, teacher and health educator and is looking forward to working with others to help create a thriving community-focused center.

ALAN BURR

Alan lives in La Honda and is a large animal veterinarian and local musician. Alan has volunteered on the boards at Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education and the Cuesta la Honda Guild. He also spearheaded the construction of the new playground at the local elementary school where his children were attending. He has lived on the Coastside since 1988 and raised two children in the La Honda community, where he and his partner began Coastside Veterinary Clinic in 1991. He is looking forward to helping with The Outpost, our new community center in Loma Mar.

ASH COLIN

Ash is a resident of Pescadero and an Environmental Science teacher at Pescadero High School.
