Cindy has lived in La Honda since 1976. She raised two children on the South Coast while working full time with the County of San Mateo Probation Department.  She has supported many local events and task forces with a focus on making a difference in our unincorporated coastal communities. Cindy is excited to work with the Outpost team to continue to benefit these amazing communities.

Kate Haas has always enjoyed being involved in the South Coast community. She served as a member of the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Committee and on the board of Puente de la Costa Sur.  In 2014, Kate and her husband, Jeff, purchased the historic Loma Mar Store and lovingly restored it, reopening in 2019 as the Loma Mar Store and Kitchen. They embraced the opportunity to run a quaint, local business that would enrich the South Coast. The creation of the Loma Mar Outpost feels like a natural next step, continuing their hope to provide a space that serves and supports the community.
